Pivot Table Trick – Finding the difference to a specific entry
Here’s a cool Pivot Table trick I found out a little while ago. When data is organised into a table, it’s sometimes hard to put values into perspective. Questions such as, how high is one value from another? One thing you can do is select a value as a reference value. All other values are subtracted by this value to find the difference. Below is an example showing before and after using the Pivot Table difference method.
