About the Course

Lookups are the next level tool for users. Along with the Index function, lookups are very powerful tools in Excel which allow us to locate as well as extract very specific data in large and complex sets of data. Here’s an example. Imagine you have a table that is 1000 by 1000 cells in size. Your name is buried somewhere in that table in a random location. To look for it manually would take some time. You could use the Excel search function but that would mean you’d have to do it every time and can’t exactly be automated or linked to any cells in your spreadsheet. However, with the lookup function, we can write the code once and it can locate for us in the blink of an eye. It doesn’t even matter if it changes position, it will keep looking for your name.

For those looking to automate there tables or those who have dynamic tables with consistently changing data

This is a rather short course with about 15 videos and a time just over 30 minutes.
